A CertivaSource record reflects a controlled review workflow at a specific point in time. It organizes source-status context, review notes, and record status without replacing the original issuing authority.
What the record does not replace
The original issuing authority, licensing board, regulator, agency, employer, insurer, court, or notarial authority remains the controlling source for the underlying document, license, or credential.
